The Washington County Chamber of Commerce has released its weekly update, featuring a variety of events and activities for local businesses and community members.
From September 23rd to October 31st, the Chamber is organizing a scarecrow contest for local businesses. Participants are encouraged to display scarecrows outside their establishments and submit photos to events@washingtoncountychamberne.com.
Several networking events are on the calendar, including Coffee & Connections gatherings at various locations throughout September. These events provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs and business leaders to meet and exchange ideas.
The Chamber update also includes information about community events such as the TeamMates Mentoring “Dine at Runza Day” on September 17th, where 10% of sales will be donated to TeamMates Mentoring.
Multiple fundraisers are scheduled, including golf scrambles for Crowell Memorial Home and the Rotary Club of Blair. The Optimist Club of Blair is planning an appreciation cookout for first responders on September 25th.
Professional development opportunities are also available, with ReliabilityWeb hosting In-Person Workshops from September 24-27, and a Mental Health First Aid class scheduled for September 20th.
